A Whale Shark is a type of fish that is classified as a shark. They can weigh up to 12,000 pounds and can grow up to 40 feet long! Whale Sharks are filter feeders and eat mostly plankton. They are found in tropical and subtropical waters all over the world.

Despite their size, Whale Sharks are gentle giants. They are not aggressive predators and pose no threat to humans. In fact, they are often considered docile and curious creatures. It is estimated that there are only about 10,000 Whale Sharks left in the wild, so it is important to protect them!
