When it comes to natural beauty, Belize is a real standout. With its lush jungles, placid ocean waters and towering mountains, the country offers visitors plenty of stunning landscapes to explore. Here are some of the highlights:

The aptly named Great Blue Hole is one of the most famous attractions in Belize. This huge sinkhole is over 1000 feet wide and nearly 400 feet deep, making it a popular spot for scuba diving and snorkelling.

Another must-see destination is the Maya Mountains. These imposing peaks form part of the longest mountain range in Central America, and offer hikers plenty of excellent trails to explore.

Belize's Barrier Reef is also well worth a visit. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the second longest in the world, and is home to a vast array of marine life.

Finally, no trip to Belize would be complete without a visit to its capital city, Belmopan. This charming town is surrounded by beautiful rainforest, and is a great place to enjoy some authentic local culture.
