The Brown Bear, a North American bear species. The brown bear's habitat ranges from northern Canada to Mexico and across much of Alaska. They are omnivores that eat anything from grasses and berries to small animals or other bears!
These furry giants live solitary lives, except for mother-offspring relationships, but they have been known to gather in large groups during food shortages.
Their fur can range from light brown to dark chocolate in color with lighter patches on their underbelly and legs. The males can grow up to 800 pounds while females weigh around 500 pounds which is still an impressive size!
