The Harpy Eagle is one of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. It is also one of the most endangered.
This magnificent bird can weigh up to 18 pounds and has a wingspan of more than six feet. The Harpy Eagle can be distinguished from other eagles by its characteristic white head and chest feathers.
Despite their size, Harpy Eagles are incredibly agile fliers and can manoeuvre through the forest canopy with ease. They feed mainly on monkeys, sloths, and other small mammals.
