Europe is home to many different types of animals, but one that is particularly interesting and unique is the European Hare.
These hares can be found throughout most of Europe, and are easily identified by their long ears and reddish-brown fur. They are known for being very fast runners, and can leap up to 6 feet in the air! Despite their small size, they are considered a prey species for many predators. For example, in the United Kingdom, hares are vulnerable to foxes, badgers, and even birds of prey.
Despite this vulnerability, European Hares continue to thrive in many parts of Europe due to their adaptability and resilience.
