The Spectacled flying fox is a unique and amazing creature. Weighing in at around 1.5 pounds, these little guys are the smallest of the flying foxes. They got their name from the special markings around their eyes that look a bit like glasses.

Spectacled flying foxes are found in forests and woodlands across northern Australia. They love to eat fruit, and you'll often see them snacking on trees like figs, eucalyptus, and melons.

Despite their small size, spectacled flying foxes are powerful animals. They can fly long distances and navigate through dense forests with ease.

What's really amazing about spectacled flying foxes is their social structure. These little creatures live in large colonies that can contain up to 1000 animals. They communicate with each other using a variety of vocalizations, and they often work together to find food.

Spectacled flying foxes are a vital part of the Australian ecosystem. They help spread seeds throughout the forest, and they play a key role in pollinating trees.
