The Cuvier's Gazelle is a graceful and swift-moving animal, which lives in the hot, dry desert of Africa. It has adapted to its environment by conserving water and not drinking at all during the day. In fact, it can go as long as five days without water!

The Cuvier's Gazelle is a slender antelope with long legs for running fast over sand dunes or through brushy terrain where they live. They have a light brown back and white underparts with horns shaped like those on a goat but much bigger.
