The desert spans around 2,000 miles from north to south and also has an average elevation of 6500 feet with sand dunes that can go up to 300 feet high. It's a great place for hikers, mountain bikers, photographers, wildlife enthusiasts or anyone looking for adventure.

The Namib Desert is located in southern Africa where it borders Angola on its northern side while sharing its eastern border with South Africa.
