Where can I see the Red Panda

Inspiring you to embark on an unforgettable journey, discovering the beauty and wonder of Red Panda in its natural habitat

Discover Tours

A Red Panda is a mammal that has a reddish-brown coat which is bright and soft, but also long and thick. Even though it's called a panda, the animal really isn't related to one at all because it looks more like raccoons or foxes.

One of the Red Panda's most unique features is its tail! It isn't as big as other pandas' tails, but what makes this tail different from others is the fact that it has white rings on it that look just like a skunk would have. This allows people to easily identify where the Red Pandas are in the forest when they're looking for them.

Red Pandas spend about 12 hours a day eating bamboo they can stay full and healthy.

This adorable creature with a loveable temperament and fluffy tail is actually one of the rarest animals in the world. They live in China and Nepal (and sometimes India) and are found at high elevations in mountainous regions. The habitat range for these guys spans an area that includes parts of western China, northern Myanmar, eastern Nepal, and southern Tibet. So naturally they're pretty hard to find!
